Memory

The first four years of life of man are the period of time, which forms him most. Never again he is able to learn so many new things at once. Most astonishing is the fact that he has only fragments of that time in mind. The first four years of his existence seem to disappear in the fog. Despite of the gaps in memory, he combines specific, individual feelings with this phase. These feelings the small child experiences unconsciously, can be clearly defined from the distant view of an adult. In certain extreme situations they enter back into memory.
